Experience Cutting-Edge Training

Modern Training Environment

At D2 Flight Training Center, we pride ourselves on providing our students with the best training equipment and facilities to ensure a comprehensive and realistic learning experience. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in the advanced technology and resources we offer.

Training Aircraft

Our fleet of training aircraft is equipped with advanced avionics, digital displays, GPS navigation, and autopilot capabilities. These features ensure that our students are trained using the latest technology, preparing them for the modern aviation environment.

Simulation Devices

We employ Advanced Aviation Training Devices (AATDs) that accurately simulate the flight characteristics of our aircraft. These devices include photo-realistic 3D scenery, realistic weather effects, and accurate representations of thousands of airports worldwide. AATDs are certified by the FAA for students to log up to 50 hours of actual flight time towards their Commercial Pilot License (CPL) and up to 20 hours towards an Instrument Flight Rating (IFR)

Electronic Flight Bag

Students will also use tablet computers equipped with Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) software. EFBs are the industry standard for comprehensive flight planning and weather forecasting, allowing our students to fly like professionals from day one

The demand for pilots is stronger than ever, with aviation companies offering higher salaries and large signing bonuses to attract new talent. The pilot-shortage crisis, briefly paused by the COVID-19 pandemic, has rebounded, making now an ideal time to start flight training

Graduates typically work for private or charter operators or as instructor pilots to build the 1,500 hours required for an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) license. ATP license holders can work for airlines, major cargo operators, and corporate flight departments. Starting salaries for ATP-level pilots range from $80,000 to $150,000 per year, with potential signing bonuses of $50,000 to $100,000

Our program is an accelerated, targeted, vocational program that is more flexible and faster than the rigid, full-time commitment required for an associate or bachelor’s degree in aviation. It allows high school students to dual-enroll and enter the aviation workforce ahead of their peers. Returning adult students can work part-time while earning their professional flight certifications

Students are expected to arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled flight time and be committed to flying whenever the opportunity arises. Failure to attend scheduled appointments may result in penalty fees

Graduates typically enter the aviation workforce as certified flight instructors (CFIs), building flight time and gaining valuable experience required to qualify for commercial pilot jobs with corporate flight departments, air freight operators, regional/national commercial airlines, or other professional aviation careers

All students must obtain a Class 1 medical certification and submit a copy prior to enrollment. We recommend speaking with us before scheduling your medical exam
